Hancock County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Direct those requests to the public office that holds the record.

HCSO says records are generally available three to five business days after the reported event. Call Records before visiting. A request can be sent through the HCSO NextRequest portal, by email, fax, mail, or in person. Give the office enough neutral detail to locate the item, such as a name, booking number, booking-date range, booking origin, and the exact record or photo requested. The published examples do not promise a separate booking-photo price, medium, or turnaround, so ask the records unit to confirm those points for the specific request.
Choose the office based on the question. The official county inquiry is the custody and booking-photo path when a record is public. A police agency may hold the event report, and a court holds the case record and disposition. The following routes identify the appropriate place to continue.
- For current or historical county booking results, use the Hancock County Inmate Inquiry and then HCSO Records if a source document is needed.
- For a court outcome after a booking, use the Hancock County eServices record or the court identified in the booking detail.
- For a Findlay incident or police report, use Findlay Police Records. Its published request paths include the city NextRequest portal and records@findlayohio.gov.
- For a wrong official booking detail or a court-ordered correction, contact HCSO Records with the booking number and supporting documentation.
- For a person sentenced to Ohio prison custody, use the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction offender search, not the county jail roster.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator.
- For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator, which is separate from Hancock County custody records.
